Exhibitor and visitor numbers shoot up

Aquarama, which took place in Singapore from 30 October to 2 November 2003, recorded a marked increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors. The number of companies exhibiting rose to 201, an increase of 39 per cent compared with 2001. Foreign exhibitors accounted for 70 per cent of this figure. The number of trade visitors shot up by 27 per cent to 5 211, with 45 per cent of visitors coming from abroad. In the one and a half days that the show was open to the public, a further 25 170 visitors attended, 49 per cent more than at the last Aquarama two years ago.
