Away from the trade fair business

With short conferences, special shows and demonstrations, the supporting programme of the upcoming Interzoo will address the most important topics and develop­ments in the pet supplies industry over the four days of the trade fair.

On the first day of the fair, for example, the topic of sustain­ability will be on the agenda. In the Interzoo Sustainability Session, the results of the latest Interzoo Sustainability Study will be presented and discussed with participants, while the special features and developments of selected markets will be presented in Interzoo country sessions.

Interzoo is also an important centre for the meetings and conferences of a large number of international associations. These include the annual general meetings of OFI (Ornamental Fish Inter­national) and the EPO (European Pet Organisation) as well as the IPAC Summit (International Pet Advisory Council).

Hall 3 features the Fresh Ideas Stage, which provides a special presentation platform for new business ideas in the pet sector. On the stage, start-ups and innovators will present pioneering industry topics and products in short talks on food, accessories, tech and sustainability in a total of over 30 presentation slots spread over all four days of the trade fair. The product showcase in the centre entrance will also present new and innovative pro­ducts.

The big Interzoo party will take place again on the Thursday of the trade fair (9 May). In keeping with the Nuremberg location, the party programme will focus on Bavarian cuisine and festi­vities. In addition to the discussions at the exhibition stands, there will be numerous oppor­tunities to extend your professional network.  

Numerous networking oppor­tunities are also offered at the companies’ own events.
