When the provisional programme appeared at the end of February it attracted considerable interest in the pet sector, and so the signs are looking good for a successful International Pet Conference in Budapest. Once again, organisers Dähne PET worldwide and Management Forum of the Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt Media Group have put together a varied programme featuring a host of well-known figures in the business and covering many current topics relating to the pet supplies sector.
The presentations given in Budapest will focus on the topic of "The Pet Business in the Digital Age". This gives rise to a number of questions: what are the consequences of digitalisation for the international pet sector? To what extent can innovative technologies transform the pet supplies industry? How can pet speciality retailers adapt in an omnichannel world?
Another aim of the International Pet Conference is to provide delegates with an overview of different markets. Prominent companies from the host country Hungary and from Spain, France, Germany, Slovakia and Russia will be represented in Budapest and will report on developments in their respective nations.

The International Pet Conference is a great platform for amassing new information and extending one's knowledge of the pet sector. However, networking, making new contacts and socialising together take a high priority at the conference too and there will be no shortage of opportunities for these. Whether during the coffee breaks or at the gala dinner in a typical Hungarian restaurant, there will be plenty of chances in Budapest to develop new business partnerships and renew existing ones.
