Tom & Co. had three stores in northern France to date, in Douai, Bruay-la-Buissière and Petite-Forêt, which are all in the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie. Another three stores, all operated by franchisees, are located in Montévrain, Brie-Comte-Robert and Rambouillet in the greater Paris area.
Franchisees of Tom & Co. have now opened two further stores in Auxerre and Thionville. Thionville, situated between Luxembourg and Metz in the east of France, is new territory for the company. The new store has a retail area covering nearly 500 m2 and is close to a Carrefour hypermarket and Geric shopping mall. It is run by Jean-Claude Oestreicher, who knows the town of Thionville well, as he already has a speciality store for festive goods there operating under the "Zoé Confetti" logo.
The new store in Auxerre, in a retail park in the suburb of Les Clairions, has a retail area of 450 m2. Franchisee Noureddine El Bouhali had an outlet of the automotive accessories franchiser Speedy there for a number of years and is currently running a baby clothing store in Troyes that belongs to the globally active retailer Orchestra. He recently took the decision to open the pet store in Auxerre, which is managed by his daughter.
