Relations between the European and Turkish pet industries are set to be strengthened: Zoomark, one of Europe's leading B2B exhibitions, and Petzoo Eurasia, Turkey's international pet exhibition, have announced a strategic partnership. This partnership will serve as a bridge to the entire Middle East and facilitate the development of new channels and market synergies in response to changing global dynamics, according to a press release.
Organised by BolognaFiere, Zoomark welcomed over 1 300 exhibitors and nearly 31 000 visitors from more than 120 countries to its 21st edition in Bologna from 5 to 7 May, covering 90 000 m2 in 10 halls. The event is an important platform for industry professionals to discover innovations, forge partnerships and advance the pet industry.
Petzoo Eurasia, organised by Ulusal Fuarcılık, will be held at the Istanbul Expo Centre from 8 to 11 October. The show will cover 30 000 m2, feature 287 exhibitors (including 46 international participants) and attract over 42 000 visitors, underlining its importance as the event for the pet industry in the MENA region.
"This collaboration with Petzoo Eurasia is an important step for Zoomark in its mission to promote international cooperation within the industry", said Enrico Zannini, general manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. "Turkey's strategic location as a bridge between Europe and the Middle East offers immense potential for market expansion and innovation. Together we want to create new opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors."
The partnership will facilitate mutual promotion, knowledge sharing and the development of joint initiatives to strengthen the global competitiveness of the pet industry in both regions.
"By collaborating with Petzoo Eurasia, we are not only expanding our geographical reach, but also enriching the diversity and depth of our events", commented Luisa Bersanetti, exhibition director of Zoomark.
In addition, the show organisers say: The pet industry in the Middle East is experiencing significant growth. In the United Arab Emirates alone, the market is forecast to reach 2 bn US-dollars by 2025. The region's focus on premium products, sustainability and digital solutions is in line with global trends and offers many opportunities for companies to expand and innovate.
