Proteine Resources, a creator of a protein technology from Poland, has developed the world's first scalable beef analog with a 1:1 nutritional profile to real beef, says the company in a press release. It claims cutting production costs by up to 50 per cent and that it is ready to launch sales.

Unlike other alt-protein approaches — cultivated meat, plant-based substitutes, and precision fermentation, which have attracted over 14 bn dollars in investments yet remain costly or lower in quality –, Proteine Resources’ technology is said to be close to market maturity.

This balanced cost/quality ratio is the result of five years of intensive research and development that has led to a proprietary, cost-effective technology that does not compromise on nutrition, claims the Polish company. It's business model is based on a network of modular, AI-controlled mini-factories, the first of which is already under construction.
