The Nutriment Company (TNC), a leading provider of natural premium pet food, has acquired Petman, one of Germany's oldest and most renowned barf manufacturers. The takeover of Petman is the third acquisition this year for the Swedish company, which is owned by the private equity firm Axcel, and the fifth pet food company in Germany to join the group.

Petman was founded in the 1990s as a brand of Hundt Tiefkühlprodukte und Dienstleistungen GmbH & Co. KG and is a pioneer in the German barf industry. The manufacturer is known for its innovative approach to natural pet food and offers a wide range of high-quality barf products that meet the different needs of dogs, cats, fish and reptiles, says TNC, praising the long-established company based in Wuppertal.
