Hornbach expands in Sweden with a smaller store format

A year after opening its first store piloting a new format in Borås, Hornbach is continuing its expansion into medium-sized cities in Sweden. The company has now opened a second store in the new format in Kristianstad, in the south of Sweden.
Hornbach has taken out a ten-year lease on the premises, which encompass a retail area of over 10 500 m², investing 4 mio euros in the site.
