The Plaček Group has announced the opening of a new Super Zoo store in Prague Zličín on 25 July. This is the fourth generation of the company's Super Zoo pet store chain, which apart from a new logo has a newly designed façade and fresh interior fit-out with modernised shelving and a new lighting concept.
Super Zoo boss Dusan Plaček told PET worldwide that live pets will also be at the heart of the new store concept. With a retail area of 1 000 m² this will be the country's biggest pet store.The new concept is expected to be rolled out in all new stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Dusan Plaček says that 30 new stores will be opening in the near future with the new format: "We believe that this concept is the best and most modern concept of a pet store in our region. It will change the pet shop market and sets a new benchmark for other business entities."
