Futterhaus launches in Austria

In International Franchise Consulting Francons GmbH, Futterhaus has been able to secure an internationally oriented company, which has specialised in franchising as a form of distribution, as its licensee in Austria. Managing director Norbert Steinwidder held previous appointments with two well-known furniture groups, where he fulfilled managerial roles relating to international expansion and franchising. Prior to that, he spent time at the helm of the Stiefelkönig Group and on the board of Baumax Hungary. Under Steinwidder’s stewardship the new franchisee is expected to open 20 stores. The first of these is to open in Styria in the spring.
