Centro Studi Zoomark has recently carried out a new survey among Italian specialist retailers. The aim of this survey was to understand what services suppliers offer specialist retailers and pet owners as well as what services retailers offer their customers. First of all, Centro Studi Zoomark tried to define what services Italian specialist retailers expect from their suppliers. 87 per cent of the retailers interviewed mentioned fast deliveries within a few days of the order and 50 per cent asked for better payment conditions. When asked “What services do you offer your customers?” 78 per cent of the Italian retailers answered “advice about products and customer assistance” and 63 per cent of those interviewed also claimed they offered advice about pet management, with information on nutrition etc.
