Baumax has reorganised its international buying department with effect from the beginning of September. The new international group buying director is Josef Wagner, 42. The international buying directors for the garden, home living, tools and building departments, plus the import director, will report to him. Wagner was previously responsible for garden department buying, a position that is being taken over by Ines Rozmán. She comes from the Roland Berger management consultancy and has already worked for Baumax as international buying coordinator within the framework of a special project. Werner Moser, 36, will continue to manage buying for the home living category. Arnold Bauer, 42, remains responsible for the building department and Gerald Huber (60) continues to run the tools department. Andras Simoniy is taking on the position of CEE buying director for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia. The head buying directors of these countries where Baumax is expanding will report to him in this capacity, and he is also responsible for developing regional product ranges.
