Programme features interesting speakers from the industry

Representatives from the trade, industry and scientific sectors will be speaking at the UK Pet Care Forum in Blackpool from 21 - 22 October 2004. Catriona Marshall, trading and marketing director of Pets at Home, will address the forum on private labels and brands, while other speakers include Piers Smart, three times winner of the Best Pet Shop in UK award, and Mary Sharrock, head of communications at Nestlé Purina Pet Care. The zoologist Graham Thurlow will explain the Animal Welfare Bill. The forum, organized by the Pet Care Trust, will be chaired by Steve Fowler, managing director of the pet store chain Pam Purred Pets.
