Three new subsidiaries are expected to open this summer

The Swiss speciality retail group Qualitpet is planning to open three new subsidiaries over the next few months. At the beginning of July a subsidiary with over 1,000 m² (10,760 sq ft) sales floor is to start trading at Solothurn. Included in the display is a rodent paradise which was designed together with Vitakraft.  Meilen, between Zurich and Rapperswil, will see the opening of a store in August. A Qualipet boutique with premium price goods will be located directly at the town’s Seestraße. And third on the agenda is the location at Würelingen with an opening planned for September, according to the head office. This market will be integrated in a 5,000 m² (53,800 sq ft) Coop DIY and hobby centre. And the subsidiary at Abtwil/St. Gallen will be moving to a different location in the area whilst the current facility is undergoing refurbishment. Further markets are planned for the rest of the year, explains Rolf Boffa, the chairman of the board.
