Eurobrico goes for autumn

Eurobrico is to hold its annual fair in Valencia in October 2005 together with Iberflora. The third Eurobrico will no longer take place in spring but in autumn and is then to coincide with the garden fair Iberflora in Valencia (Spain). The fair organisers are scheduling the event for the second half of October 2005. In changing the seasonal timing of their fair, Eurobrico is in tune with the rhythm of the Ferroforma which also takes place in two year intervals. Ferroforma is to present for the first time its own DIY segment under the brand name Bricoforma.  
The organisers of the Valencia fair believe the decision is based on an internal study of synergy effects because the target groups of the exhibitors at Eurobrico and Iberflora are largely overlapping. They are talking of a spectacular growth achieved by the garden centre sector over the past years and are pointing out that the gardening ranges cover about one fifth of the sales floors in home improvement and DIY markets.
