Substantial increase in international contingent

Visitor numbers at this year’s Glee in Birmingham were up by just under six per cent. Of the total attendance figure of 25 886, international visitors numbered 2 327, signifying an increase of 16 per cent compared with last year’s international attendance figure. A similar trend was observed with regard to exhibitors: while the total number increased by eight per cent to 1 528, the number of the companies, with 27 countries represented in all. Visitors to the show came from 65 different countries.
