Further expansion in Switzerland

The Swiss speciality retail chain Qualipet opened its 36th “Qualipet-Center” in Freiburg, Switzerland, in September. The outlet has a sales area of 850 m2 and offers a full product range featuring aquariums, a rodent display and a section for those with an interest in horses. A date has also been set for the next Qualipet opening: the first “Qualipet-Markt” opens in Volketswil, in the Zurich canton, on 30 October 2003. No live animals are included in this new concept, which will sell only pet food and the 1 000 best-selling accessories.
